Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 22, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how Sphericlabs (“Sphericlabs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://sphericlabs.dev, contact us, or use services we provide to you or your organization.

1. Who we are

Sphericlabs provides software engineering and related technical services to businesses. Our primary region of operation is United States. For privacy-related requests, contact us at hello@sphericlabs.dev.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact and account details you provide, such as name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title.
  • Project and communication content you send us (for example messages, briefs, attachments, and feedback).
  • Technical and usage data such as IP address, device and browser type, general location derived from IP, pages viewed, and timestamps. We may collect this through server logs, analytics tools, or similar technologies.
  • Information from integrated services when we operate products on your behalf (for example hosting, email, SMS, or authentication providers). What we receive depends on how those services are configured.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries, provide proposals, and deliver services;
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and internal tools;
  • Send transactional messages (for example about a project or account);
  • Send marketing communications where permitted and with appropriate consent or opt-out, as applicable;
  • Comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect rights; and
  • Aggregate or de-identify data where appropriate for analytics.

4. SMS and text messages

If you opt in to receive text messages from us (for example through a web form, contract, or product you use), we may use a messaging provider (such as Twilio) to send those messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of promotional texts by following the instructions in those messages (for example replying STOP). You may receive a confirmation message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at hello@sphericlabs.dev. We do not sell your phone number or share it for third-party marketing unrelated to providing the service you requested, except as described in this policy or as required by law.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to remember preferences, measure site performance, and understand how visitors use our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work if you disable cookies.

6. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that assist us (for example hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer support, and communications infrastructure), subject to appropriate safeguards;
  • Professional advisors (for example lawyers or accountants) where necessary;
  • Authorities if we believe disclosure is required by law or to protect safety and rights; and
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.

We do not sell personal information as “sale” is defined under U.S. state privacy laws that use that term.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the data and our relationship with you.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal a decision regarding a privacy request. To exercise rights, email hello@sphericlabs.dev. We may need to verify your request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

10. Children

Our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International transfers

If you access our services from outside United States, your information may be processed in United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws.
